Slack will notify you when important events happen. For example if a feature you are working on is finished and ready to be deployed you can just mark the card as ready to let everyone know.

Whenever someone in your team encounters a problem that is blocking progress on a feature just mark the card as blocked to let your team know about it.

When your team shipped a feature and moved it to the final stage on your board this is definitely a reason to celebrate and have some party. A lovely turtle joins you :)

Using @mentions

While working you may like to mention a team member as a way to get them to view or contribute to a specific task. Type a team member's Slack @username to notify them in a comment, task or when adding a reason for why a card is blocked.
